The Fulton Police Department is dedicated to a partnership with the community in promoting values, solving problems and enhancing the quality of life. We are committed to quality service and protection for all those who live, work, and visit the City of Fulton.
Welcome to the City of Fulton, Illinois. The City of Fulton was founded in 1835 and is located on the Mississippi River. The city was named after the famous inventor Robert Fulton. Fulton was a transfer and warehouse port between the upper and the lower reaches of the Mississippi River. Fulton is a city most known for its pride in its Dutch heritage. This is reflected in one of our main tourist attractions a traditional Dutch windmill, "De Immigrant" located near the city's dike next to our business district.

The City of Fulton Police Department is made up of eight full-time officers, two part-time officers and a full-time administrative assistant. We offer 24/7 police protection.
